Rough road continues for Wolf Pack in a 63-44 loss to Toledo

TOLEDO -- Nevada moved the ball well for most of Saturday’s non-conference game at Toledo. And the Wolf Pack scored. And scored again. And some more.

But Toledo kept responding.

The Rockets gained 460 yards on offense, scored twice on special teams plays, and eventually pulled away from Nevada, 63-44, at the Glass Bowl. Toledo improved to 2-1; Nevada dropped to 2-2 heading into Mountain West play.

Nevada tied the score three times – at 7, 14, and 21 – but never led. After falling behind by as many as 14 points late in the first half, the Wolf Pack rallied in a frantic third quarter and got as close as 42-38.
