The Wolf Pack baseball team will look to begin its 2019 season with a bit of selective memory.
Nevada wants to embrace its recent success and to build upon its Mountain West regular-season title from last season. At the same time, dwelling on the disappointing finish to the season won’t serve much of a purpose.
The Pack is coming off a 29-24 season that included a 20-9 record in Mountain West games, good enough for its second conference championship in a four-year span. But the year came to a sooner-than-expected end with consecutive losses to UNLV and San Jose State in the Mountain West tournament in San Diego.
