Record-breaking day keeps Pack alive in MW Tournament

Two down, three to go for the Nevada baseball team.

The Wolf Pack won a pair of elimination games during Friday's Mountain West Tournament action in Albuquerque, N.M. Nevada first knocked off last year's MW Tournament champion, San Diego State, 5-3, before eliminating this year's regular-season champion, top-seeded Fresno State, in record-breaking fashion, posting a 25-6 drubbing in eight innings.

Junior Trenton Brooks starred throughout the day, picking up a key hit and the victory in game one before the Wolf Pack offense exploded in game two.

Nevada's win over San Diego State made the Wolf Pack 8-0 against the Aztecs this season.
