Doug Knuth’s office sits about 25 paces from the Wolf Pack’s trophy cases at Legacy Hall.
The athletic director has been on the job at Nevada for a little more than three years and since he took over the department in April 2013, the Wolf Pack has added two Mountain West trophies to its collection.
Nevada has surely made progress, both academically and athletically, but remains an underdog in the conference it joined in August 2012, both financially and competitively.
Nevada recently completed its 2015-16 athletic season and had a number of highlights. The swimming and diving team won the school’s second MW title and produced a two-time individual NCAA champion, diver Sharae Zheng.
