A police report, obtained Tuesday by the Reno Gazette-Journal, sheds some light into why Nevada Wolf Pack basketball player Elijah Foster was arrested Monday.
The one-page report states the Reno Police Department responded to a report of domestic disturbance at an apartment complex two miles north of campus at 7:34 a.m..
"The defendant had made statements on a call to dispatch that consisted of him saying to the victim, who is his girlfriend of two years, 'Shut up or I'll hit you again,'" the report reads. "The victim was crying at the time. The victim had a recent scratch by her right eye.
