Pitching leads Pack baseball to 3-1 victory

DAVIS, Calif. – The Nevada baseball team won its fourth straight game, limiting UC Davis to four hits in a 3-1 victory Tuesday at Dobbins Stadium.

The Wolf Pack improved to 11-12, riding its longest win streak of the season.

Senior RHP Zack Wilkins picked up his third win, allowing one hit in three innings. Sophomore RHP Mark Nowaczewski pitched three innings in relief, allowing just one base runner on a hit by pitch. Junior RHP Evan McMahan recorded his third save of the season with a 1-2-3 ninth inning.

The Wolf Pack scored one run in the first and two in the fifth to lead wire-to-wire.
