One day after Sharae Zheng joined elite Wolf Pack company by winning an NCAA title Thursday, she reached even more rarefied air Friday by winning a second championships in as many days.
Zheng, a sophomore who has been at Nevada for a little more than two months, won the 3-meter diving event at the NCAA Championships in Atlanta to become just the third Wolf Pack athlete to win multiple NCAA titles.
Swimmer Limin Liu won three national championship (one in 1999 and two in 2000) and cross country skier Katerina Hanusova also won three (one in 2001 and two in 2002).
