Brayden Sanchez’s season is over and his football career might be, too.
For the second straight season, the Wolf Pack wide receiver has suffered a season-ending injury. Last season, Sanchez tore his ACL in the season opener. During Saturday’s win over Buffalo, Sanchez suffered what coach Brian Polian termed “a severe foot injury” that will end his season.
Sanchez, a senior, could apply for another year of eligibility, but that decision hasn’t been made yet.
“We’re still talking about that,” Polian said. “A wide receiver who suffers a knee and then a serious foot, I think it’d be different if you were talking about another position.
