Wolf Pack right side hitter Madison Morell, a senior, and graduate assistant coach Vish Djurdjevic will represent the Nevada volleyball program this summer in Europe with the 2016 Mountain West Global Challenge All-Star Volleyball Team, the conference announced Thursday.
Twelve Mountain West student-athletes make up the team that will travel to Maribor, Slovenia for three days of training sessions and friendly matches against national teams from the region. From July 10-14, the team will compete in the 2016 European Global Challenge in Pula, Croatia, featuring junior national and club teams from throughout Europe.
“This is a great opportunity for Madison to play with some different teammates and compete on an international stage against some talented foreign opponents,” Nevada coach Lee Nelson said in a news release.
