Nevada's Jarred Gipson and Nathan Goltry were both named to national award watch lists Wednesday, with Gipson in the running for the top tight end in the country and Goltry up for the top center in the country.
Gipson, a 6-foot-1, 240-pound senior, was named to the John Mackey Award watch list. Goltry, a 6-1, 300-pound senior, was named to the Rimington Trophy fall watch list after being named to the summer watch list two months ago.
Gipson is one of 45 tight ends in the nation to be named to the watch list for the Mackey Award.
