Pack's Damanhoury charged with DUI, driving wrong way

Wolf Pack football player Ziad Damanhoury, who started eighth games for Nevada last season on the offensive line, was arrested Thursday morning and charged with two misdemeanor charges.

Damanhoury was booked into the Washoe County Sheriff's Office at 3:36 a.m. Thursday and charged with DUI above the legal limit and driving the wrong way on a one-way road. He has since been released.

"We are aware of the incident and take this matter very seriously," Wolf Pack coach Brian Polian said in a statement to the Reno Gazette-Journal. "Ziad has been suspended immediately and indefinitely pending the resolution of the legal process.
