LAS VEGAS – The Wolf Pack football team enters the season with some lofty outside expectations, just not quite as lofty as the expectations for San Diego State and Boise State.
SDSU and Boise State were selected during Tuesday's Mountain West media days to win the West Division and Mountain Division, respectively, with Nevada pegged for second in the West.
SDSU, which was perfect in the MW last season, was a unanimous selection to win the West, garnering all 29 first-place votes. Boise State received 27 of the 29 first-place votes in the Mountain Division, with Air Force, which won the division in 2015, getting the other two votes.
