Pack opens as three-point underdog at Big 10's Purdue

The Wolf Pack football team opened as a three-point underdog for Saturday's game at the Big 10's Purdue, which ostensibly means the books think these teams are of equal caliber (home-field advantage is generally worth three points for most games).

Nevada will be looking for its second win over a Big 10 team ever and second victory over a Power 5 team in coach Brian Polian's tenure. The game is scheduled for a noon local time kickoff (9 a.m. Pacific time) Saturday on ESPNews.

The Wolf Pack is 1-4 all-time against the Big 10, with a win over Northwestern in 2006 and losses to Wisconsin (1993), Nebraska (2007), Northwestern (2007) and Maryland (2008).
