The Wolf Pack’s new offense made its public debut at the team’s spring football game Saturday at Bishop Manogue and despite being vanilla with its playing calling the offense was still highly productive.
The offense scored five touchdowns and a field goal in 14 full drives – one was cut short for a halftime break – and had several explosive plays. Using a unique scoring system, the Wolf Pack offense scored a 53-49 victory over the defense, which forced three turnovers, including one returned for a touchdown.
“There were some good plays made today; there were some boneheaded plays made,” Nevada coach Brian Polian said after the scrimmage at Bishop Manogue High School before about 600 fans.
