SAN DIEGO – News and notes from the Wolf Pack’s 70-56 loss to SDSU on Sunday.
* Senior Marcus Marshall was a machine for Nevada in the team’s first 20 games. He made at least two 3-pointers in each of those contests, tallied at double-digit points and hit the 20-point barrier 13 times. But over the last couple of games, specifically the last two road contests, he’s struggled.
The combo guard was limited to four points on 1-of-10 shooting Sunday against SDSU, going 0-of-7 from three. In his previous road game, Marshall scored just two points on 1-of-12 shooting, including 0-of-7 from three.
