Pack notes: Jordan Caroline brings the energy from opening tip

News and notes from the Wolf Pack’s 83-58 win over Oregon State on Friday.

* Nevada sophomore forward Jordan Caroline set the mood for the game on the Wolf Pack's first possession, grabbing three offensive rebounds before being fouled and hitting both of his free throws.

The Southern Illinois transfer carried that aggression throughout the game. He recorded his first double-double at Nevada, stuffing the stat sheet with 12 points, 12 rebounds, four assists and three steals.

“He gives us an identity in how we play because of his energy, effort and enthusiasm,” Nevada coach Eric Musselman said.
