LAS VEGAS – News and notes from the Wolf Pack’s 83-69 win over Utah State on Thursday.
* Tasked with trying to win three games in three days, the Wolf Pack, which has only eight available scholarship players, was able to get its starters some rest in the 14-point win over Utah State, although it wasn’t necessarily by design. Starters D.J. Fenner and Jordan Caroline were limited to 12 combined first-half minutes – five for Fenner; seven for Caroline – because both picked up two early fouls.
Caroline led the MW in minutes during the regular season but logged only 27 against Utah State.
