When Wolf Pack basketball recruit Shawntrez Davis arrived at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport late Thursday night, the welcoming party was out in full force.
Not only was Nevada head coach, Eric Musselman, and Davis’ lead recruiter, Yanni Hufnagel, there, so, too, were all of the Wolf Pack’s assistant coaches, graduate assistants and even the video coordinator and a few more. Nearly a dozen Nevada personnel were waiting for him at the luggage claim late at night, which left a huge impression.
“When I first got off the plane, it was a crazy atmosphere,” said Davis, one of the nation’s top junior-college players who verbally committed to Nevada on Saturday.
