Nevada basketball wasn't the only team on campus to have a great Saturday night.
While the Wolf Pack scored a huge win over Boise State on the hardwood, Nevada football coach Jay Norvell and his staff picked up two big commitments, including one a from four-star recruit.
Toa Taua, a highly sought-after running back, committed to Nevada during the third quarter of Saturday's Polynesian Bowl at Hawaii's Aloha Stadium. (He rushed for a 2-yard touchdown just minutes later). Taua picked Nevada over finalists Iowa State and Utah State. He had offers from a number of other teams, including several in the Pac-12.
