Pack draws great opportunity vs. struggling Purdue program

The Power 5 level of college football is comprised of 65 teams.

Since 2013, Purdue is tied for the fewest wins of those 65 teams with just seven (Kansas also has seven victories).

But when the Wolf Pack takes the field at Ross-Ade Stadium on Saturday at 9 a.m. Pacific time to battle the Boilermakers, coach Brian Polian said that recent track record doesn’t matter. Yes, Purdue is just 7-31 since Darrell Hazell was hired in 2013 following a bowl season – with four of those wins against FCS teams – but Polian says the past doesn’t mean much.
