The Nevada football team celebrated 50 years of playing at Mackay Stadium on Saturday night, a place where hundreds of Wolf Pack players and dozens of coaches have called home for the last five decades.
And there’s not a single player or coach who wouldn’t have been proud of the way the Wolf Pack played before the 20,457 fans who came out to celebrate the stadium. Nevada raced to a 24-point halftime lead against Buffalo, its largest since 2011, before taking a 38-14 victory, its biggest margin of win since 2013.
A number of Wolf Pack alums stopped by practice this week and the current team made them proud on this night.
