Junior Justin Bridgman went 4-of-5 with three RBIs and two runs as the Nevada baseball team defeated San Jose State, 11-8, Friday at Peccole Park.
The Wolf Pack matched a season-best with seven straight wins, improving to 25-20 overall and 14-8 in Mountain West play.
Nevada made history in the process, tallying its 800th all-time Division I victory. The Wolf Pack is 800-583-3 overall in its 25th season since joining Division I prior to 1992.
Bridgman led Nevada with his fifth consecutive multi-hit game. Junior Miles Mastrobuoni went 2-4 and matched a career-high with four RBIs, senior Bryce Greager went 3-4 with one run and one RBI, and junior Trenton Brooks went 2-of-4 with two RBIs and one run.
