Pack adds more shooting by landing Purdue's Kendall Stephens

Despite the Wolf Pack basketball team’s success last season, it still struggling in one facet of the game.

Shooting, which has been a constant bugaboo the last three seasons.

But coach Eric Musselman is trying to rectify that, with proof coming Wednesday. Hours after landing a commitment from Iowa State transfer Hallice Cooke, a strong 3-point shooter, the Wolf Pack got a pledge from Purdue transfer Kendall Stephens, who hit 175 3-pointers in three years as a Boilermaker, a figure that would rank sixth in Nevada history in treys and placed him second among active Mountain West players behind Boise State's Nick Duncan (179).
