LAS VEGAS – One stands a muscular 6-foot-8 and has the ferocity of a lion when attacking the rim and the touch of an archer from the 3-point line. The other checks in at a bullish 6-7 and plays as if he’s powered by batteries, never taking a play off and always out-hustling the man across from him.
Together, they are 460 pounds of brute force and together they were an unstoppable force in leading Nevada to an 83-69 victory over Utah State and into the semifinals of the Mountain West Tournament at the Thomas & Mack Center.
