LOGAN, Utah – News and notes from the Wolf Pack’s 75-57 loss to Utah State on Wednesday.
* Despite all of Nevada’s success this season – an 18-4 start, receiving votes in the Top 25 polls, increasing home crowd sizes – one of the overlooked parts of the team is how young it really is.
The Wolf Pack starts three sophomores and two of its three regular bench players are freshman. That means five of Nevada’s eight rotation players are underclassmen. And after the Pack responded from back-to-back big wins last week with an ugly loss to Utah State, that youth was pointed to as part of the problem Wednesday.
