News and notes from the Wolf Pack’s 79-64 loss to Loyola Marymount on Monday.
* The Wolf Pack mixed up its starting lineup Monday, subbing freshman Devearl Ramsey in for Lindsey Drew at point guard and sophomore Jordan Caroline in for D.J. Fenner as the starting small forward.
“Just sometimes as a coach you have to make tough decisions,” Nevada coach Eric Musselman said.
Musselman said the change of Caroline for Fenner was made to improve the defense and rebounding. He was happy with the energy both Caroline and Fenner played with in the win.
