The Nevada football season is halfway complete and the Wolf Pack is still looking for its first road win as it prepares to play at San Jose State on Saturday.
That fact hasn’t escaped fourth-year coach Brian Polian, who got his degree in history and dipped back to the 1940s to make a point to the Wolf Pack players about the importance of winning on the road.
“If you’re going to have any kind of a season, you have to find a way to win on the road, especially in conference,” Polian said. “I talked to the team about Nazi Germany.
