News and notes from the Wolf Pack’s 77-72 overtime win over Fresno State on Saturday night.
* The Wolf Pack defense has been locked in the last three weeks and it was never more apparent than in its win over Fresno State. Nevada held the Bulldogs to 29.9 percent shooting, the fourth time in six games the Wolf Pack held its foe below 35 percent shooting. Nevada had hit that mark in the last three outings.
“The guys are doing an unbelievable job of following game plans, buying into their film study, buying into when they go through opposition’s sets,” coach Eric Musselman said.
