SAN JOSE, Calif. – News and notes from the Wolf Pack’s 82-67 win over SJSU on Wednesday.
* Four of the players in the Wolf Pack’s starting five average double-figures in scoring. And then there’s point guard Lindsey Drew, who is happy serving as the facilitator. But, Wednesday at SJSU, Drew took a starring scoring role early, tallying 11 first-half points as Nevada took a 23-point halftime lead. Drew finished with 14 points, which were more than his total output (12 points) in the previous six games combined.
“Lindsey has done a great job when teams have elected to back off of him,” Nevada coach Eric Musselman said.
