MILWAUKEE – News and notes from the Wolf Pack’s 84-73 loss to Iowa State on Thursday.
* Iowa State's depth and bench was a huge difference-marker in the Cyclones’ win over Nevada in the NCAA Tournament. One key stat: Iowa State nearly had as many players score in double-figures (five) as the Wolf Pack had see action in the game (six). Iowa State also had a 20-4 edge in bench points.
Donovan Jackson (12 points) and Darrell Bowie (eight points) combined to score all 20 of those bench points while shooting 8-of-9 from the field.
