Wolf Pack running back James Butler, who was knocked out of last week’s game against San Diego State with a head injury, missed Monday’s practice but should be able to play against Utah State on Saturday.
“We got good news on him this morning,” Nevada coach Brian Polian said. “He did very well with his evaluation with the medical personnel, so unless there’s a setback we expect James to be out there.”
Late in the third quarter against SDSU, Butler “took a blow to the head” and “was a little bit fuzzy,” Polian said. He missed the remainder of the game but has progressed well in the last two days.
