SAN DIEGO – News and notes from Nevada’s 42-23 loss to San Diego State on Saturday.
* Wide receiver Brendan O’Leary-Orange had one of the best pass-catching days in school history. The sophomore caught 11 passes for 214 yards and three touchdowns, setting career highs in each category.
O’Leary-Orange had catches of 48, 52 and 53 yards and his 214 receiving yards are the 18th most in a game in school history and the most by a Nevada player since Rishard Matthews had 220 yards against UNLV in 2011.
