The last time San Jose State played at Nevada – in 2015 – Ahki Muhammad was the Wolf Pack's hero.
With the game tied at 31, SJSU lined up for a potentially game-winning 51-yard field goal at the end of regulation. But Muhammad, then a freshman, came flying off the corner to block Austin Lopez’s kick. The Wolf Pack went on to win 37-34 in overtime in what ended up being the victory that sent the team to a bowl.
