The Wolf Pack basketball team is dancing again.
For just the third time in school history, Nevada was selected as an at-large team in the NCAA Tournament. The Wolf Pack will play Texas on Friday in Nashville. Nevada was picked as a seventh seed, which is tied for the second-best seed the program has drawn in the tournament. Texas is a 10th seed.
Nevada (27-7) won the Mountain West regular season but fell to San Diego State, 90-73, in the MW Tournament semifinal. The Aztecs went on to beat New Mexico in the MW championship game to secure the conference’s automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament.
