Kendall Stephens, who set the Mountain West's single-season 3-pointer record in his lone year at Nevada, will have surgery on his shooting thumb Friday, Wolf Pack coach Eric Musselman told the RGJ on Thursday.

Stephens injured the ligament in his thumb Feb. 21 against San Jose State but played the rest of the season, wearing a plastic cast and wrap to keep from further damage.
