Nevada women down San Jose State, advance in Mountain West Tournament

Nevada will get to face Boise State again, the team that knocked the Wolf Pack out in the championship game last year.

Four players scored in double figures as Nevada held off San Jose State, 78-68, in the first game of the women's basketball Mountain West tournament on Sunday at Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

Jade Redmon had 19 points for the Wolf Pack and eight rebounds. Two Pack players had double-doubles, Terae Briggs had 12 points and 12 rebounds and Emma Torbert had 15 points and 11 rebounds.
