The Nevada basketball team will play for its first conference tournament championship since 2006 on Saturday at 3 p.m. against Colorado State.

It will be the second time the teams have played for a championship in as many weeks. Nevada beat Colorado State, 85-72, last Saturday in Reno to win the regular-season crown. It looks to repeat that feat seven days later with a spot in the NCAA Tournament on the line.

Nevada last won a conference tournament title in 2006 when it knocked off Utah State in overtime, 72-62, in Reno. It has played in only one conference tournament title since then, losing to Utah State, 72-62, in 2009 in Reno.
