Nevada soccer coach Erin Otagaki announced her first recruiting class Wednesday and it includes two local high school graduates.
Audrey Barham, from Spanish Springs, and Kennady Whitehead, from Reed, are part of the seven-member 2017 class.
Both Barham and Whitehead are transferring form Peninsula College.
Barham helped lead the Couagrs to three league titles. She was a three-time, first-team all-league selection, was twice voted the team’s best offensive player and twice voted the team’s most valuable player.
Barham plays outside left back and Whitehead plays center midfielder.
“She loves to hit the flanks, loves to get up and down, attack and is going to bring an offensive presnce to us,” Otagaki said of barham.
