Before the season begins, Nevada basketball coach Eric Musselman goes through his team’s schedule and puts either a “W” or “L” next to every game. It’s something he’s done for years.
Musselman wouldn't reveal which games got a “W” and which ones got an “L,” so only he knows what he scribbled next to Nevada’s game at Utah State earlier this month. But it’s probably safe to say Musselman, nor anybody else, could have predicted the Wolf Pack’s 74-57 defeat in Logan, Utah just 17 days ago.
“We played our worst game of the year at Utah State,” Musselman said of the blowout loss.
