Wolf Pack athletics has a new voice.

Nevada hired John Ramey on Thursday to serve as the school's lead broadcaster for football and men's basketball. Ramey comes from UCLA, where he had been part of the Bruins' broadcast team since 2010.

The 39-year-old Ramey replaces Ryan Radtke, who has called Wolf Pack and Reno Aces games since 2008 but accepted a full-time job with national distributor Westwood One in May.

Ramey has been with the Bruins for the last seven seasons, calling UCLA baseball, men’s and women’s soccer and select men’s and women’s basketball games. For the last four years, he also hosted the Bruin Insider Show.
