Nevada, Fresno meet for first time since 'no credit' game

It was just a two-word, three-syllable, eight-letter phrase, but it lit the fuse on a long-standing rivalry.

“No credit.”

Those were the words issued by Fresno State basketball coach Rodney Terry just minutes after Nevada beat his Bulldogs, 77-72, in overtime, last February at Lawlor Events Center. It was the culmination of some testiness between the two sides stemming over how much the additions of newcomers Cameron Oliver and Lindsey Drew had contributed to the Wolf Pack’s massive turnaround last season.

But after Nevada squeezed past an undermanned Fresno State team 10 months ago, Terry, who is typically reserved with his post-game comments, said Nevada got "no credit" for the win.
