Nevada football team adapting to pandemic restrictions

The COVID-19 pandemic restrictions hit the Nevada football team, again, this week.

Late last week, Washoe County officials reduced the number of people allowed to gather at one place to 50, down from 250, which limits a football team with more than 100 players, coaches and support staff.

So, the Wolf Pack has to adapt and improvise, by separating the offense, defense and special teams onto separate fields for practice and by not having team meetings in person.

Nevada (3-0) plays New Mexico (0-2) on Saturday at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas. Kick-off is set for 3:30 p.
