After the Nevada football team’s Wednesday practice ends, the Wolf Pack’s assistant coaches will all head to the airport before flying off to various destinations across the West looking to fortify its future.

The program is using its bye week to go see recruits, some of which are already committed to Nevada while others are still on the Wolf Pack’s wish list. Jay Norvell and his staff have 17 known verbal pledges in the 2018 class, which leaves just a couple openings. Nevada has signed six “blueshirts” – players who joined the team this year but count in the 2018 class – and are nearing the maximum of 25 signees.
