Nevada football report card: Grading each position and the coaches

Nevada football’s win total has dropped from seven wins in 2015 to five wins in 2016 to three wins in 2017, the first season under coach Jay Norvell, but you could make the case the team was better this season than last year.

While the Wolf Pack did drop from 5-7 to 3-9, it also played its most difficult schedule since 2013 and a deep dive shows progress in the advanced metrics that go beyond a team’s win-loss record.
