Nevada football fans looking to see former head coach Jay Norvell again won’t have too long of a wait.
Colorado State, Norvell’s new home as of Monday, is scheduled to play at Mackay Stadium next season as the Mountain West flips the home-and-away teams from this season’s conference schedule.
A date and time for the 2022 game have not been set. The conference dictates all 12 teams’ Mountain West schedules, usually releasing the full schedule in the spring.
Nevada and CSU actually ended the 2021 regular season playing each other. The Wolf Pack won easily, 52-10, in a blowout most memorable for quarterback Carson Strong setting records and former CSU coach Steve Addazio getting ejected in the first half.
