The Wolf Pack quarterback room just got a bit bigger — and, perhaps, a lot more competitive.
Nevada officially announced the addition of Oklahoma State transfer Shane Illingworth, a verbal commitment from earlier in the year, on Tuesday. He’ll join the team in time for summer camp, which usually has an early August start.
In two seasons in mostly a reserve role for the Cowboys, Illingworth completed 69 of his 120 attempts, good for 939 yards and seven touchdowns. His best outing was a 315-yard game in OSU’s opening win over Missouri State last season.
