Through five games, the Nevada football team has already experienced a number of highs and lows — including two dramatic, close wins — and checked off a number of boxes on its to-do list.
And now the real fun begins.
The Wolf Pack (3-2, 1-0 Mountain West) begins the heart of its schedule with a Saturday home game against Fresno State (3-1, 0-0). That begins a four-game stretch that will likely determine Nevada’s chances of finishing with a winning record, along with the team’s postseason fate.
“We’ve been eyeballing the middle of this schedule for a long time,” Nevada coach Jay Norvell said.
