The message Nevada sent this week rang loud and clear: The Wolf Pack is the best team in the Mountain West.
Nevada made that case Wednesday when it beat Boise State on the road by 19 points in a game that determined first place in the MW. It doubled-down Saturday when it knocked off New Mexico by 17 in another game with first place on the line. After its 82-65 win over the Lobos before 10,727 fans at Lawlor Events Center, the 12th-largest crowd in school history, Nevada proved it’s a cut ahead of the pack halfway through MW play.
