The Wolf Pack’s senior night games have always been special, an electrically charged moment when the community gathers to honor players during their final game at Lawlor Events Center, but Saturday’s senior night game will be like no other played by Nevada in recent memory.
The Wolf Pack won’t just be playing for its seniors. It will be playing for a championship.
Seniors D.J. Fenner and Marcus Marshall, two key pieces in Nevada’s resurgence, will be honored prior to the team’s 5 p.m. tip-off Saturday against Colorado State. Then, they will try and lead the Wolf Pack to a win in a game that will decide who is crowned the 2016-17 Mountain West regular-season champions.
