Caleb Martin’s absence lasted only one game as did the Wolf Pack’s losing ways.

With its star player making a surprisingly quick return from a ligament sprain in his foot, No. 23 Nevada bounced back from a bitter loss to rival UNLV on Wednesday to top San Diego State, 83-58, before 10,134 fans Saturday night at Lawlor Events Center.

Jordan Caroline led the way with 26 points and 11 rebounds; Kendall Stephens added 21 points, all from 3-point range; Lindsey Drew flirted with a triple-double, finishing with 12 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists; and Martin added 10 points as Nevada ran away from SDSU after the teams were tied at halftime.
